What Is PDR?
Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is the repair process that involves the removal of door dings, minor dents, and hail damage, from a vehicle's exterior surface panels without disturbing the finish.
Our process involves the use of a special light that allows us to see the surface of the panel with much greater detail. We then gently work the backside of the dent with specialized metal rods and hand tools to massage the metal back to its original shape. If the dent is located in a position that does not allow access with a tool we use a method of pulling the dent from the outside and slowly reshaping it to the correct position.
Either method can be extremely effective on qualifying damage and since the outer finish of the panel has not been disturbed, it eliminates steps in the refinishing process and allows for more timely repairs.
